Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Sep 05
(the crop level here was barely 35 hectoliters per hectare owing to a high percentage of millerande grapes) Very ripe but reduced on the nose. Creamy-rich but rather tightly wound today, with some hard-edged acidity giving the wine a faint dryness. Ultimately quite closed and not yet harmonious. But this is a fairly big wine for the vintage. .
